Giving Up On Scrapbooking

Eddie will be four years old next week. Not long after he was born, I started working on a scrapbook to document his life. It still only has three completed pages. So I gave up.

Luckily I discovered a much easier way of combining photos and blog posts into a printed photo book. So I used Shutterfly and created a photo book for both Eddie and Violet's first year of life. They were delivered today and I am quite pleased with the final result.

So far, I have only found one mistake that I made. But overall, I think they are much better and more durable than anything I could've scrapped on my own.

I love Shutterfly! I also used to scrapbook and gave up on them. Photobooks are easier! I usually wait for their free photo book once a year and they have good deals all the time...

I have one page of Tommy's scrapbook done, it is a little sad. We have done a couple photo books, but I hadn't thought about doing a photo book as a scrapbook for each of my boys. Thanks for sharing the great idea!

I'm the same way! I'm all about the digital Scapbooking! I use Heritage Makers because I can do more custom stuff. So much easier. My sister does it to and orders (2) books one that says out to be looked at and one that gets put away and can stay safe with no sticky fingers.
